Creating a structured folder organization in the Optimizely Data Platform for filters, reports, segments, and behaviors enhances usability and efficiency, allowing teams to quickly locate and manage key assets. By grouping related items, such as filters and segments, users reduce clutter, streamline workflows, and ensure better collaboration. A well-defined folder structure prevents duplication, minimizes the risk of using outdated resources, and ensures that assets align with business objectives, making reporting and analysis more accurate and actionable. Organized folders also support data governance and compliance by ensuring that data is categorized, accessible, and secure. This clarity and consistency not only facilitate a smoother onboarding process for new team members but also improve productivity across the board, empowering teams to focus on insights and drive meaningful actions. Overall, structured folders are essential for maximizing the platform’s potential and maintaining an effective data-driven strategy.

User Story:
As a user, I want folders for segments in ODP (Optimizely Data Platform) so that I can better organize and manage my segments. Currently, all segments are displayed in the same view as a list, with the most recently created or modified segment appearing first. Additionally, I want to be able to delete segments so that I can clean up at least my own segments.
Acceptance Criteria:
The user can create folders for segments in ODP.
The user can move segments into folders.
Segments are displayed in folders in an organized manner.
The user can delete segments from ODP.
Required Information:
Are there any limitations on the number of folders or the number of segments within folders?
How does deleting segments affect any reports or analytics where the segments have been used?
Are there any specific permissions or roles that affect the management and deletion of segments?
Is a separate confirmation process needed for deleting segments to avoid accidental deletions?
